#30day Run Challenge

Running has been my one constant since I was a teenager, my one thing I cant go without, my therapy, my me time, my time to think, my time to breath. I still to this very day prefer it over any other exercise.

MINDSET. Anyone can become a runner. It is a true mindset. If you say you can’t run then you won’t. If you say I’m a runner, I can run, I’m a fast runner you will be amazed at the distance you can cover after simply just shifting your mindset. Think about it, that’s all we did as kids.

SHOES.My favorite running shoes are Brooks Adrenalines and they are my vice, my one true vice. I love love love getting new tennis shoes. I go through a pair every couple months. Yes it’s important to get new shoes every few months because they lose thread and they lose support. It helps to prevent injuries as well. Get some new kicks if it’s been awhile. Your body and knees will appreciate it. Check your local running stores they will fit you for the perfect shoe based on the type of feet and running stance you have. Do you have a high arch or a low arch? This is important to know before investing in a good pair of running shoes.

RACE.Sign up for a fun race. They are electrifying. I love doing races. They are super fun. I would start with a 5k, then 10k, then you have half marathons and marathons. Ive done them all and love the challenge every single race brings to me.

HEART.Running is so amazing for your heart and cardiovascular system. It helps increase endorphins and energy levels. It improves your mood, sharpens your mind , boost your confidence and helps you burn calories and maintain a healthy weight.

CHALLENGE.So here’s what I got for you. A 30 day running challenge. Even if your first day is only 2 mins and the next day is 3 mins then you walk and so forth. I want you to commit with me today. May 9th, 2020 to run 30 days straight. No day off. I will provide you a tracking sheet and when you are finished every day check it off and at the end of the 30 days post your results and paper on my Facebook page (Mamma-Tribe) or my Instagram page or below in the comments. I love selfies. Share your running selfie. Now if you read this later on and its May 14, 2020 your 30 day challenge starts then. Guess who is holding you accountable, yourself. However, I would love for you to share with me your journey at the end. As a matter of fact, you can write about it. You can dedicate this 30 day running challenge to someone or something or it can be for you. Get moving! WHO IS WITH ME???

WARRIOR.Remember you are a warrior, you are alive, you got this! Run now while you can and for those who can’t. It can be life changing.
